Jaya Bachchan To Inaugurate 8th BIFF On Jan 28

Eminent actor Jaya Bachhan will inauguratethe 8th edition of Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFF) tobe held in Bengaluru and Mysuru Simultaneously.
Ms Bachhan will inaugurate the Festival on January 28 in front ofVidhana Soudha, the State Secretariat.
Addressing a press conference here, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah,who is also Chairman of the BIFF said that the distinguished gueststo the Festival includes Dadasaheb Phalke Award Winner Gulzar,Hollywood Producer Ashok Amritraj, well known Director Sanjay LeelaBhansali, Telugu Film star D Venkatesh, distinguished Filmmakerfrom Bengal Aparna Sen.
The Cultural Events include Dance recital Ms Shobana & Nirupama Rajendra.
The regular screenings for the Delegates will commence on January29. The screenings will be held at 11 screens-PVR Cinemas,Rajajinagar, Bengaluru, 4 screens – INOX Cinemas, Mall of Mysuru
In all 172 films from about 50 countries will be screened and vyefor top honour under various categeories including Asian Competition, Indian, Kannada Competition
