Paswan Foresees Collapse Of Bihar Coalition In 2 Years

Lok Janshakti supremo and UnionMinister Ram Vilas Paswan today predicted a collapse of JDU and RJDcoalition government in Bihar in two years time as differencesbetween the two leaders had surfaced.
“There are differences between Chief Minister Nitish Kumar andLaluji is calling shots because of his numbers (in the stateassembly) and Nitish is helpless to check Jungleraj,” he added.
Alleging that the JDU-RJD government in Bihar has turned ‘worst’, Paswan alleged that the crime rate was on the rise as pointed outby the killings of two engineers and a Police official in Darbhangaand Vaishali districts. The performance of the two year governmentwas worse.
He said he had predicted such a bleak scenario well in advancebefore the two parties formed the government.
Paswan said today the NDA government would act on the basis ofcourt verdict Ram temple issue and not on the rhetoric of leaders ofthe affiliates of the ruling party. He said there was no question ofsouring of relations between his party and BJP over the matter asaction would be on court verdict.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modis politics revolved arounddevelopment and not controversial issues — Ram Mandir, Babri Masjidand Common Civil Code. The PM too had not spoken once in the last 18months of his tenure. “His aim is that there should be developmentin the country and solve the problems confronting the youth andstrengthen country’s image in the eyes of the world.
He also sidestepped a question regarding Modis image taking abeating and souring of relations between LJP and BJP.
Regarding the comments of Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi onGoods and Services Tax, Mr Paswan said he did not have the moralright to demand capping of percentage of taxes in the bill. The UPAwas in the Government for the past decade and did nothing during theperiod. The Congress, he alleged was misusing its numbers in theRajya Sabha to stall the Bill. It should have been passed last yearitself, he said
