Jayalalithaa’s Swearing-In As CM On May 23 Yet To Be Confirmed : AIADMK

The AIADMK on Wednesday said that party matriarch J Jayalalithaa’s anointment as the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister on May 23 is yet to be confirmed , adding that the details fo the programme shall be announced soon.
“23 May’s event of Amma’s swearing-in as Chief Minister is yet to be confirmed, Amma is yet to confirm programme. Whatever the program, it shall be announced soon,” AIADMK spokesperson C R Saraswathi told ANI.

Earlier in the day, the AIADMK had announced that Jayalalithaa will take oath as Tamil Nadu chief minister on May 23, days after being acquitted in a disproportionate assets case by the Karnataka High Court.
