KPCC General Secretary Resigns Over Allegations Of Domestic Violence

Kerala Pradesh Congress Commitee general secretary T Sidqque today tendered his resignation following allegations of domestic violence by his former wife.
In a letter to KPCC president V M Sudheeran, Siddique said he wanted to stay away from the post on moral grounds till he is cleared of charges levelled by Nazeema.
He said certain Congress leaders, backed by the Communist Party of India (Marxist), were attacking him on flimsy grounds.
He said he had a talk with Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on the issue.In her complaint to Magistrate court and the City Police Commissioner, Nazeema had alleged that Siddque indulged in domestic violence.
CPI (M) district committee and leader K K Shylaja had demanded action against Siddque following allegations levelled by Nazeema
