Kumar Vishwas Again Fails to Appear Before Delhi Commission For Women On Alleged Illicit Relationship Case

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas today again did not appear before the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) despite a fresh summon sent to him yesterday to appear before the panel at 12 noon.

Vishwas Wednesday also had not appeared before the Commission saying that he did not received any notice.

Addressing reporters, DCW chairperson Barkha Shukla said the Commission had issued fresh summons to Mr Vishwas Tuesday y but he did not appear.

The complainant and her husband were present at the Commission, Ms. Shukla said.Despite several requests by the Commission to Vishwas to come and clarify the entire issue and save the personal life of his party’s volunteer, Vishwas did not come, Ms Shukla added.

The DCW Chairperson accused the AAP of being insensitive towards women issues.

Meanwhile, the complainants husband, who was also present at the Press Conference, said he only wants the AAP leader and his wife to come out and clear the air. He said he has full faith in his wife but some misunderstandings were arising in his family due to Vishwas silence.

Hitting out at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP volunteer, who had filed a written complaint to the DCW, said if he was concerned about the self respect of his family, then he should also show concern for others’ self respect and the society.

Tuesday , a chaos was witnessed at the DWC presser, when two members contradicted each other and one member, Juhi Khan, resigned from the Commission.
