Two Hardcore Naxals Surrender Before Police In Chhattisgarh

Two hardcore Naxals, carrying a total reward of Rs 13 lakh on their head, Wednesday surrendered before Kondagaon Superintendent of Police Abhishek Meena, police said.

“Rajman Korram, a member of the Naxal military company number 6, was wanted in connection with13 major cases of Naxal violence since 2005.

The 26-year-old rebel, hailing from Mardapal, was carrying a reward of Rs 8 lakh,” the SP said.Likewise, Govind Netam (26), was allegedly involved in 27 incidents of Naxal violence in Bastar region since 2004.

A resident of Madanar, Netam was also working as a courier for Naxal leaders of South and North Bastar Divisions. Netam was carrying a reward of Rs 5 lakh on his head.

Both the ultras said they decided to give up violence being fed up with the complete dominance and continued exploitation of tribal villagers and women of Chhattisgarh by Naxal leaders from Andhra Pradesh
