Mamata Invites Nitish, Kejriwal In Bengal Business Summit

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has invited her Bihar and Delhi counterparts Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for forthcoming Bengal Business Summit, beginning on January 7.
All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) Rajya Sabha member and national spokesperson Derek O’Brien today said, “Both Kejriwal and Nitish Kumar have been invited for the Bengal Global Business Summit which will be held next year.
He said both of them have been invited as the Chief Minister of Bihar and the chief minister of Delhi and not as the JD(U) leader or the AAP chief.
The move is seen as Ms Banerjee playing an important role in shaping an anti-BJP coalition and to form a federal front.
In September, Banerjee attended Kejriwal’s ambitious Chief Ministers’ Conclave on cooperative federalism in New Delhi.
After Ms Banerjee’s open support to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during Bihar state assembly poll, she has invited Bihar chief minister and Delhi chief in next years Bengal Business Summit.
