Modi Promised Moon To Masses: Cong Leader

Congress senior leader and former Maharashtra Minister Kripashanker Singh Monday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised moon to masses and now after 13 months of his regime, they have started feeling as if they have been backstabbed.

Singh said that the Prime Minister’s attractive speeches and promises were fake.

He said plight of farmers should have been the priority for the union government but the Modi was busy in his foreign tours.

The Congress leader also accused that union government of not at all taking interests in the public benefiting schemes launched by the former UPA government and they have sidelined the common problems of public.

Instead of distracting the public through his “Mann Ki Baat” programme, Mr Modi should have clarified on the issue of Lalit Modi, Sushma Swaraj and Vasundhra Raje. ”

Discussing the deteriorating condition of law and order, power supply, tariff hikes in Uttar Pradesh, “Singh said it is the failure of the Samajwadi Party government”.
