NCW Issues Notice To Congress leader Gurudas Kamat For Derogatory Remarks Against Smriti Irani

National Commission for Women,NCW, Saturday issued notice to Congress leader Gurudas Kamat for his derogatory remarks against Union Minister Smriti Irani.

The AICC general secretary had on Thursday questioned Smiti Irani’s qualifications to be the Human Resources Development Minister and claimed that she had worked in a hotel before becoming a TV actress.

Kamat also wondered why Prime Minister Modi had chosen her as the HRD minister.

Kamat’s statements have been criticised by political parties.
