Nitish working in favour of BJP in UP poll: Manjhi
02 February, Patna
Former Bihar Chief Minister and president of Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) Jitan Ram Manjhi Thursday accused Chief Minister and JD(U) national president Nitish Kumar of working in favour of BJP in Uttar Pradesh Assemby elections.
Manjhi told media persons here that Kumar had not fielded any JD(U) candidate in Uttar Pradesh assembly poll to help the BJP win the election.
It was now certain and should not be surprising for anyone, if Kumar joined hands with BJP and JD(U) becomes a constituent of NDA,he added. The former chief minister said he would welcome the decision of Kumar to join hands with BJP once he makes his mind for the same and announces formally.
It was a well-known fact that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kumar had appreciated each other during Prakash Parva on January 5, which was organised to mark 350th birth anniversary of 10th Guru of Sikhs Guru Govind Singh, he pointed out.
