No Move To Denationalise Coal Sector : Coal Minister Piyush Goyal

The Union Government Monday clarified that there is no move to denationalise the coal sector.
In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Coal and Power Piyush Goyal said that the government has disinvested ten per cent shares in Coal India Limited in January this year to comply with the SEBI guidelines.
He said that the Centre’s shareholding in CIL is now almost 80 per cent.
