Odisha BJP stunned by Amit Shah’s silence on Naveen Patnaik
The much hyped “Mahasangram Rally” coinciding with debut public
meeting of BJP President Amit Shah was virtually collapsed to be a
whimper with BJP Chief maintaining an unusual silence about perceived
misdemeanor of BJD Government.
Around two third of Shah’s speech was devoted to blasting “Rahul
Baba” and Congress while he forgot simple political truth that
Congress was already decimated in Odisha where BJP’s prime betenoire
is only Naveen Patnaik led BJD. But , them call it a selective3
amnesia or handiwork of BJD trozen horses in BJP.
Lack of coordination in the venue was visible with the cadre coming
from far flung areas respondidng to TV guys stated that they did not
know who the speaker was.
All the while they repeated , they came all the way to pledge a war
on BJD leading to defeat of Naveen Patnaik. But Shah’s words was very
uninspiring, said a BJP cadre unwilling to be identified.
After his diatribe, Shah virtually admitted in the public speech
that BJP lacked organizational skill required to secure victory in
polls. That could have been the reason , Shah advised his party men to
go to people- to- people contact programme and bolstered organization
strength.
“Draw people to BJP’s fold”, Shah advised party men while stating
Corruption has become a way of life under BJD Government and BJP
Government in the state would be honest and free of scams. Ironically
that was the only veiled attack Shah made at the Naveen Patnaik
Government.
Shah literally blast Odisha Chief Minister Patnaik, which the crowd
very much wanted. While majority of the crowd were unresponsive ,
they were seemingly bored with Shah’s anti-Congress diatribe and
“Rahul Baba” rhetoric.
BJP supporters who came to hear were completely disillusioned with
not only Shah , but also with the speeches of two Union Ministers-
Jual Oram and Dharmendra Pradhan, State party chief KV Singh Deo,
which were mutually contradicting.
Interestingly Bijoy Mohapara ‘s speech could some how drew maximum
applause compared to guest of the day Amit Shah.
