Odisha Govt. Recommends To Center Two locations In Sambalpur For Proposed IIM

The Odisha government Tuesday recommended two locations in Sambalpur district for locating permanent campus of the proposed Indian Institute of Management (IIM).

It has recommended two locations, one in Dhankaouda block and another in Jujumara block of Sambalpur district.

Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik had recommended the Centre for setting up the proposed IIM in Sambalpur city in response to Union Human Resources Development Minister Smriti Irani’s letter seeking opinion of the state government for setting of the IIM in western Odisha, particularly in Sambalpur region.
