PEB Scam : FIR Filed Against MP Governor Ram Naresh Yadav

The Special Task Force-STF today lodged a FIR agains Madhya Pradesh t Governor Ram Naresh Yadav in the multi layered Professional Examination Board-PEB scam.

For the first time an FIR has been lodged against the Governor in the state. Governor Ramnaresh Yadav’s son Shailesh Yadav’s name has also been dragged in the scam while his former Officer on Special Duty Dhanraj Yadav is already in jail in Professional Examination Board scam.

Shailesh’s name was mentioned in the FIR related to contractual teachers exam scam. The STF has served a notice to Shilesh.

According to sources the Governor has been charged with fraud among other counts for his alleged involvement in the PEB’s Forest Guard recruitment scam.

Yadav has been charged under different sections of the IPC including 420. Besides, he has also been booked under the relevant sections of Prevention of Corruption Act.

According to charges against him, Yadav had recommended the names of five candidates for recruitment as Forest Guard to the top officials of state Professional Examination Board which conducted the examination.
