PM Modi Arrives In Mongolian Capital Ulaan Baator

In the second leg of his three nation tour Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Mongolian capital Ulaan Baator Saturday evening.
Foreign minister of Mongolia Purevsuren, Indian ambassador in Mongolia Somnath Ghosh and Mongolian ambassador in India Biyara received the prime minister at the Chinggis Khaan International airport.
This is the first ever visit of Indian Prime Minister to Mongolia.
Talking exclusively to All India Radio, Somnath Ghosh expressed hope that Mr.
Modi’s Mongolia visit will be path breaking.
He said that the two nations will sign several agreements during the visit.
Some rare honours are going to bestowed on Indian prime minister during the visit.
Narendra Modi will have delegation level talks with Mongolian Prime Minister on Sunday after which several agreements will be signed.
President of Mongolia will host a luncheon banquet in the honour of Indian prime minister.
Modi will also address Mongolian Parliament. This is for the first time on a holiday the Parliament of Mongolia is going to allow a foreign leader to address the members there.
A special session on Mongolian national festival Nadaam is also being organised for the sake of Modi. Indian Prime minister will gift a sampling of Mahabodhi tree to the chief monk of Gandan Monestary. He would also address a community reception in Ulan Bator.
Modi’s visit will to further bilateral relation of the two countries.
