PM Modi Gets Pakistan To Accept India’s Terms On Terrorism, Claims BJP

BJP Friday termed the outcome of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif as a ray of hope in bilateral relationship.

The party said Islamabad has for the first time accepted New Delhi’s definition of terrorism that it is unacceptable in all its forms.

Talking to reporters in New Delhi, BJP spokesperson M J Akbar said it has provided an opportunity to take forward the relationship between the two countries. He also highlighted that Pakistan has agreed to expedite the trial of the accused in Mumbai terror case.

Asked about Congress’ criticism of the talks after a BSF jawan was reportedly killed at the LoC in a firing from Pakistan, Akbar said he did not want to waste his time on irrelevant comments.
