PM Modi Leaves For Week Long Visit To 5 Central Asian Countries And Russia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left on a week long visit to five central Asian Countries and Russia a shortwhile ago. Modi will first reach Uzbekistan today and Kazakhstan Tuesday.

After attending BRICS summit and SCO summit at Ufa in Russia on 9th and 10th July, Prime Minister will visit Turkmenistan on 11th July, Kyrgyzstan on 12th July and Tajikistan on 13th July.

Prime Minister’s visit to each Central Asian countries will be short but very crucial as focus is on enhancing strategic, economic and energy ties.

Uzbekistan Prime Minister Mirziyoyev will welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Tashkent one airport soon after Prime Minister’s arrival. Prime Minister will also hold brief talks with Uzbek Prime Minister at Airport meeting hall.

Official welcome has been arranged at Kuksaroy presidential complex. Prime Minister will hold half an hour talks with Uzbek President Karimov this evening, which will followed by delegation level talks.

Official press statement is likely to be issued after the signing of key agreements. Uzbek president Karimov has also hosted banquet for Prime Minister later today.
