PM Modi stresses the need to develop true democratic values among the political parties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said, development of true democratic values in the political parties of the country is important for the country as well as for the future of democracy. He urged all to make democracy within the political parties a subject of debate as people are not aware of the structure of the parties, their ideologies and functioning.

Addressing the media on the occasion of Diwali Milan held at BJP headquarters in New Delhi today, he thanked media for making the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan a nationwide mission.

Speaking on the occasion the party president Amit Shah said, under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership the country has become united and faced challenges including border, economic, poverty alleviation, in the last one year decisively. He said the government has tried to solve the problems in the country with people’s participation. He also said that India is entering into the new year with a positive atmosphere.

Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani and others Union Ministers and senior party leaders were also present on the occasion.
