President Mukherjee To Inaugurate Week-Long Festival of Innovation Today

President Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate today a week-long festival of Innovation in the precincts of Rashtrapati Bhavan.

It will provide a common platform for the interaction of the various stakeholders, right from students to bankers with unique ideas from grassroots innovators which will be showcased in an exhibition focusing on three major subjects Make in India, Swachch Bharat and Adarsh Gram.

India ranks 76 on the Global Innovation Index, much below countries like Malta, Lithuania, Greece and Brazil.
