Srinivas Prasad firm in quitting Cong

Former Union Minister V Srinivas Prasad is firmin his decision to quit the congress but is yet to decide on joiningeither the BJP or the Janata Dal (Secular),
Miffed with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for unceremoniouslyremoving from the Cabinet, Mr Prasad has been toying with the ideaof quitting the party, but is yet to take a firm decision. He toldnewsmen here today that there was no change in his plans.
Prasad vented out his ire against Siddaramaiah and said that thecurrent cabinet was ineffective, contrasting the reason cited by theChief Minister as to make the cabinet effective before ousting himfrom the cabinet. He said that this move by the CM has caused himgreat pain and hurt his integrity.
When asked about joining the BJP or JD(S), he said that both theparties have approached him but hasn’t finalised anything yet. ”Fornow, the prime objective is to come out of the Congress,”, he said. At a function, BJP MP Pratap Simha gave an open invitation toPrasad to join his party.
