Suspended Uttar Pradesh IPS Officer Amitabh Thakur To Challenge Suspension In Court

Suspended Uttar Pradesh IPS officer Amitabh Thakur has said that he will challenge his suspension in the court.

Thakur said, he is taking legal recourse because he feels injustice has been done to him.

Thakur reiterated his demand for a CBI inquiry against the all incidents related a complaint he has filed against Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on threatening him and a rape case filed against him.

Meanwhile, the state government has decided to issue a charge sheet to Thakur. The statement of the woman, who made the rape allegation, was recorded before magistrate in Lucknow Tuesday.
