Swine Flu Claims 353 Lives In Gujarat , 5803 Persons Test H1N1 Positive

In Gujarat, swine flu has claimed six more lives, taking the total number of deaths to 353 since January. Two deaths were reported from Ahmedabad while one death each was reported from Rajkot, Jamnagar, Surat and Junagadh districts.

As many as 89 new cases of swine flu were reported across the state Tuesday , taking the total number of cases of H1N1 virus to 5,803 till date.

Maximum 31 cases have been reported from Ahmedabad district alone, while Surat district has reported 13 new cases during last 24 hours.

Meanwhile 4572 patients have been cured so far from swine flu and discharged from the various hospitals of the state.
