Swine Flu Claims 50 More Lives In India , Toll Touches 1,587

Swine flu has claimed 50 more lives across the country Thursday . With this, the death toll due to the virus has gone up to 1,587 since January this year.

The maximum toll was reported from Rajasthan with 354 deaths and in Gujarat, the toll reached 353 till Wednesday .

In Maharashtra, the disease has claimed 235 lives. In Telengana , the number of casualties stand 69 , 10 in Delhi Delhi, the number of casualties stands at 10.

A Health Ministry official said that the number of H1N1 cases has also increased to 27, 886 till yesterday.
