Telengana CM presents Rs 3.7 cr worth gold crown to Bhadrakali Ammavaru

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao Sunday presented a gold crown weighing about 11.7 kg and worth about Rs 3.7 crore to the Bhadrakali Ammavaru here coinciding with the ongoing nine-day Devi Navaratrulu.

The Chief Minister presented the crown to the goddess Bhadrakali on behalf of the State Government and also fulfilling his vow for carving out the separate state of Telangana.

He was received at the temple entrance by priests with Purnakumbham. Special poojas were also performed on the occasion.

Chief Minister’s wife Shobha, Deputy Chief Minister (Education) Kadiam Srihari, Endowment Minister Indrakaran Reddy, Member of Parliament Vinod, MLA Vinay Bhaskar among others took part in the programme.
