Telugu Actor Ranganath Committs Suicide In Hyderabad

Multi-telanted Telugu actor Ranganath Saturday committed suicide at his residence in Gandhinagar here this evening.

The veteran actor took the extreme step by hanging himself from the ceiling in his room. However, the reasons for the act was not immediately known, according to Musheerabad police.

Ranganath had acted some 300 films, playing social and mythological roles.

The 66-year-old senior actor, who was born in Chennais , began his career in a small role in late ANR starrer ‘Buddimanthudu’ in 1969. Ranganath was a Graduate and his real name was Tirumala Sundara Sri Ranganath.
