Toyota Set To Launch Telematics Service For India

Toyota Kirloskar Motor plans to launch its cloud based telematics service for Indian customers from the middle of this fiscal, a move that should go a long way towards improving driving experience for vehicle owners.

Through this platform, the company will offer services like 24X7 Assisted Navigation and Live Traffic information, 24X7 GPS Location based Road Side Assistance, Online Maintenance appointment booking, live check of service progress, e-Payment.

The company displayed its cloud-based telematics services, Toyota Connect, on the second day of the Auto Expo 2016.Toyota car owners will be able to access Toyota Connect through a smartphone application. In India we want our customers to experience Toyotas global standards of service quality through the Toyota Connect Telematics services, N Raja, Director and Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said.
