UPSC Declares Results Of Civil Services Exam; Women Bag Top Four Positions

Union Public Service Commission Saturday declared the results of Civil Services Examination.

Ira Singhal has topped the examination, while Renu Raj has secured the second rank , Nidhi Gupta bagged the third position and Vandana Rao the fourth position.

A total of 1,236 candidates have been recommended for appointment into the prestigious Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, and Indian Foreign Service and other central services.

The result is available on the UPSC website – www.upsc.gov.in.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated all those who successfully cleared the Civil Services Exam. In a tweet, Mr Modi wished them and said they have begun the journey to serve the nation.

Prime Minister said, those who did not clear the exam should not lose heart and this must not deter them from their future endeavours.
