BSP Not To Join Congress Led Protest March Against Land Bill : BSP Supremo Mayawati

Bahujan Samaj Party, BSP Chief Mayawati Tuesday made it clear that her party will not join the Congress’ protest against the NDA government’s Land Acquisition Bill.

Speaking to reporters outside Parliament, Ms. Mayawati said, BSP will not join this protest because it is headed by Sonia Gandhi and this can lead to a political backlash in her state.

Ten Opposition parties will take out a march starting from the Parliament House to the Rashtrapati Bhavan this evening against the Land Bill. The parties include Congress, Samajwadi Party, TMC, DMK, Janta Dal(U) and CPI(M).
