Centre To Release Rs.250 Cr To AP For Polavaram Irrigation Project

The Centre has decided to release Rs 250 crore to Andhra Pradesh for setting up of Special Purpose Vehicle for the Polavaram Irrigation Project.

The decision has been taken in pursuance of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014.

It has also released Rs 549 crore to the Andhra Pradesh against collections made under small savings schemes.
