Heat Wave Claims 50 Lives In Telangana , Andhra Pradesh

At least 50 persons died due to sunstroke as north Telangana and parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh .
Both the states are reeling under severe heat wave conditions for the past two days.

Nizamabad recorded the highest of 47 degree Celsius Wednesday and Met officials are saying that the day temperatures will continue to be high for another two three days in the region.

In Wednesday alone, 13 died in Warangal district, while 12 persons in Nalgonda and 10 died in Karimnagar district.

However, the state Disaster Management Commission has confirmed 12 deaths due to heat wave conditions.

In Andhra Pradesh, at least 16 persons reportedly died due to severe heat wave conditions in Srikakulam, Visakhapatna and Vizianagaram districts.
