India-China Agree To Explore fair ,Reasonable And Mutually Acceptable Border Solution

India and China have agreed to continue to explore a fair, reasonable and mutually acceptable resolution on boundary dispute and reiterated their commitment to maintain peace and tranquility in the border region. Both countries agreed to be sensitive to each others’ interests and find solutions to outstanding issues.

In a statement after delegation level talks with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in Beijing Friday , Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that China showed sensitivity to the concerns expressed by India on border issue.

The Prime Minister said, during his bilateral talks with Chinese leadership, he reiterated the importance of clarification of Line Actual Control and the need to achieve progress on issues related to visa policy and trans-border rivers.

The Prime Minister said China was very receptive to the concerns expressed by India on the issue of growing trade deficit and hoped an impact on the ground soon.
