Shiela blames Maken for Congress defeat in Delhi
12 Feb, New Delhi
Former Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dixit Thursday blamed Congress’ defeat in the Delhi Assembly Elections on a weak campaign led by Ajay Maken.
She said the campaign was not aggressive and party was muted on the work done for 15 years. The three-time Chief minister said she was also disturbed by the fall in the party’s vote percentage. The Congress did not win a single seat in the Delhi election.
Earlier, Mr Maken had offered to quit his party posts owning responsibility for the defeat.
