Gold Up By Rs 240 To Rs 26,950 Per Ten Grams

Gold rose 240 rupees, to 26,950 rupees per ten grams at the Delhi’s bullion market on Monday, as Greece shut banks and imposed capital controls, boosting demand for haven assets amid concern of the country’s likely exit from the Euro zone amid fresh buying by jewellers.

Silver advanced 300 rupees, to 36,700 rupees per kilo on increased off take by industrial units and coin makers. Silver coins remained unchanged at 54,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces.
